Instructor - Brandon Wright

In this two day "Instructor - Level" class each student will walk through how to navigate
running a pistol mounted optic on your handgun. Students will understand the advantages
and disadvantages of a red dot, how to negotiate obstacles like water/fog/mud, and build
confidence in the use of your optic. If you are a Firearms Instructor looking to build an optics
program for your department or new to a red dot, this course will give you the tools and
resources to confidently carry or teach.

  • Zeroing Procedure
  • Advantages and Disadvantages of a PMO

  • Use of Suppressor Sights
  • Overcoming Potential Obstacles (Cracked / water / fog)
  • Acceptable Sight Picture

Prerequisite: Must be on-duty with your agency and a current FSA Member.
