This three-day, 24 plus hour course is designed to introduce SWAT Operators to the utilization of ballistic shields.  The learning objectives for this course are as follows:

1. Pros and cons of the ballistic shield. 
2. Tactical movement and manipulation of the ballistic shield.
3. Single operator, two operators, and team ballistic shield deployments.
4. Shooting from behind the ballistic shield with a handgun.
5. Shooting from behind the ballistic shield with a rifle.
6. Single operator and partner reloading.
7. Search warrant service with the ballistic shield.
8. Rescues with the ballistic shield.
