OBJECTIVES: This course is designed to prepare members to assume the duties as a SWAT sniper. Topics covered include precision rifle shooting fundamentals, cold bore theory, facial recognition exercises, distance shooting, positional shooting, MIL/MOA ranging, camouflage, stalking, hide construction, stress shooting, and equipment selection.

INSTRUCTOR: Lieutenant Brent Addison has been a member of the Lakeland Police Department for over thirty years, with over 25 years on their SWAT team Lt. Addison has held a variety of positions on the team to include Entry, Sniper, Sniper Team Leader, Assistant Team Sergeant, and SWAT Commander. He has been an instructor for the Florida SWAT Association for over ten years.
