Jonathan Cox is currently a Corporal with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He has been with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for over nine years and has been on OCSO SWAT team for over seven years. During his tenure, he has participated in numerous high risk operations and tactical deployments involving armed suspects, barricaded suspects and critical incident responses. He has served as the SWAT team's tech cadre lead for over four years, where he is responsible for managing and implementing tactical technologies used in operations. In this role, he oversees training, equipment integration, and operational deployment of specialized systems that enhance team safety, intelligence gathering and mission effectiveness. 

As a tactical instructor, Jonathan focuses on practical real world applications drawn from operational experience. His instruction emphasizes decision making under stress, effective use of technology in tactical environments, and strategies that improve officer safety and mission sucess.
