Tony Blackburn began his career with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (FL) in 2005. He has worked in several areas of the agency, including patrol, Undercover Narcotics, Tips Squad, full-time/part-time SWAT, and patrol supervisor.  He has been assigned to SWAT for 19+ years and his assignments have included counter-Sniper team, team tactics cadre and is currently an Assistant Team Leader (ATL).  He has been instructing since 2015 in CQB, active shooter, and hostage rescue.  Prior to law enforcement, he served as an active duty Marine with 1st Battalion 6th Marines from 1997-2001.
