FSA Mechanical and Ballistic Breaching Course

The course will begin with a presentation on tactical breaching considerations and expectations of the course in a classroom setting.
The second half of day 1 will be Mechanical Breaching demos and multiple reps on several doors as well as window breaching frames. This will include in swing and out swing doors of various strengths and several options will be available to try different tools of the trade.  We encourage you to bring anything your agency uses that you'd like to use or share during the course as well.  
Day 2 will be ballistic shotgun breaching with multiple reps per person as well as static demos of energetic/explosive breaching.  The group will be broken into teams and each team will be in the stack for at least 1 energetic/explosive breach before the day is done.  
The course will be fast paced and everyone will get the opportunity to conduct several breaches.  We will break the class into 3 smaller groups "entry teams" and cover stack orders, considerations and run through approaches as well.
