Cost - FREE to FSA members This course is an instructor or team leader level course. The intention is to help folks that are teaching a skill on their team or agency, in this case Firearms, how to use adaptive fundamental skills of marksmanship and positive instant response, to include sequence, timing, repetition, duration and evaluation at each step to build the foundation in which all future principles can advance. Strategies of training millennials, Team members and in-service and uniqueness will be addressed. This course will also address issues and strategies that have developed over time that have great success. Addressed will be learning techniques, focus, and responses to neuroscience that have identified why people do what they do, positive and negative reinforcement, and how training with correct sequence and timing should enhance skills quickly regardless of current shooter level. There will be exercises in building drills by the student. This course will identify how to determine what are the root causes of shooting shortcomings and officer survival issues in an individual. Then hopefully show how to fix them with proper training. Although each student will shoot about 300 rounds and probably build their own shooting skills, the course is not meant to be an advance handgun course. Instructors Ast.
