15th Annual Spring Shoot Out Sniper Competition
April 24-26, 2019 • Orlando, Florida
Last year was a close finish for the teams from Tallahassee Police Department,
the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and the Kissimmee Police Department, but in the end,
Brandin Suarez and Brandon Illgen of the Kissimmee Police Department
took first place in the FSA’s 14th Annual Spring Shootout Team Competition.
Ryan Donovan took the honor of winning the individual top sniper,
followed by Rob McCarty.
Congratulations to all our FSA Spring Shootout Champions.
This was the 14th year our Spring Shootout has been running, and it is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and the hard work of our committee. Even though this is a competition, all the courses are designed as training to test competitors’ skills, ultimately making them better equipped to handle any situation they may encounter. The stress of a timer and competing against peers allows event creators to create an environment which closely mirrors a real-world incident.
HUGE thanks to our amazing sponsors
Ruger and B&H Police Supply for providing weapons;
our shirt sponsors Point Blank/PACA, SEAL1 and BLAC-RAC;
our lunch sponsor Florida Bullet;
and prize sponsors 5.11, DeSantis Gunhide, High Speed Gear, Invisio,
Haven Gear, Trijicon, Troy Armaments and Venture Ballistics.
We would also like to recognize the Orlando Police Department,
the Lakeland Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff's Office for their
continued support and assistance in making this year’s event live up to its stellar reputation.
I look forward to seeing you throughout the year at our other great training courses and at next year's 15th Annual Spring Shootout!
